I started logging during the summers over 35 years ago while I was attending college. I fell in love with the entire process, especially the timber falling, and now have worked throughout five states, in all different types of operations.

I was a commercial art student in college, so the creative part of me really enjoys meeting with a variety of landowners, each with different priorities, needs and types of woodlands to work with. After explaining what their options are, together we come up with a shared vision for their property.

I have attended hundreds of hours of forestry classes, seminars and field-trips. I've spent 12 years working closely with a consulting forester who was also a Wildlife Biologist. I learned how to recognize valuable habitat, when and how to preserve it, or recreate it elsewhere on the property. I still log with conventional equipment, when the project calls for it, but I really enjoy working with small, low-impact versatile machines. I've made numerous modifications to this machine to efficiently address the wide range of services I wish to offer.
